To moe's question,

BROOK: this stock is getting more active recently. Probably it's testing the selling pressure. If you try, set stop around 0.56. Good luck.

tgpro: trying to break through the 200 avg today, at the moment not clear whether it can succeed or profittaking will set in.

patkl: could be worth a try if it can close above the 75 avg at 1.43.

preb, tfd and w1: also worth to try.

svoa: need to break the downresistance since february 2007 around 1.35

inet: could be game over, if you like it I would buy it a todays closing which cuold be near the days low and use a tight stop

cei: above all avgs so it could go further but it is often ramped up and followed by a sharp drop, play only if you can watch it.

uniq: found support at the 75 avg, use tight stop and sell if it fails to break the 25 avg. next week.

ascon: looks like another run comes soon.

any views on SMM? bought in at 1.15.

trc: there has been a dividend in form of a right issue at a ratio of 7:2 today, check the set news from march 20.

smm: tricky, way above the major averages and now at the 1-2 year high of 1.2, might correct several % the coming days which you need to hold through to hope for a continuing rally, as the macd in the weekly chart just turned positive. not sure whether i would sell tomorrow with a samll profit and buy back lower or would hold through whatever will be ahead. if it opens strong, continues the ride and manages to clear 1.2 very well, you should hold it for longer, as 50-100% profit could be on the cards.

maybe scrt4u can give a 2nd opinion.

ewc: should be still some upside as the macd just gave a buy signal yesterday.

nwr: should be a good entry now as it should go above the falling 25 avg soon.

nch: seems turning, worth a try.

s2y: as long as it can stay above the rising support since november it should be ok.

bsm: triangle formation which will breakout soon, use a tight stop if you enter

bsbm: i think it is too late to enter now.

d1: could be a good entry for long term, i don't think it will take off soon

mida: i sold today and added more of pe.

de: had already a good run this year, still plenty of upside for longterm, not sure about the afternoon performance, if you chase then better use a tight stop.

mme: time to take profit now, the area of 2.75 was a former horizontal support in the 1 year chart and the upside now should be limited.

susco: this one should be a 1 day wonder or maybe good for a second day, if you play then use 0.4 as intraday stop.

distar: also not sure about the afternoon, but in the longrun we could see much more upside.

At Wednesday, April 02, 2008 2:09:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

pe: i added at 1.14 as the intraday chart looked bullish, but as the 200 avg is close at 1.18 i will get out quick if there is some resistance today. otherwise there is a chance to go to ceiling.
will use 1.14 as intraday stop.

pe: forgot to let you know the comment from phillip securities at lunch time:

"In the near term, the stock price is in a recovery mode with a bullish candlestick. The odds are that the stock price will continue its move higher. ‘Trading BUY’ with barrier pegged at Bt1.25-Bt1.32 and support at Bt1.10-Bt1.08. Cut loss if the share prices close below Bt1.05."

nsm: had an eye on it today but decided to stay away as the 200 avg at 0.29 and the former horizontal support at 0.3 will be hard to break (the falling resistance since dec 2006 in the weekly chart at 0.32 might be another obstacle). if it breaks, we could see a major rally.

seems all stocks recommeded by poems worked well today, good job!

At Thursday, April 03, 2008 11:55:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

most of my charts are still missing the prices from 2nd of april (but show the todays price), i hope that this will not influence my analysis.

kbank: rising resistance in 1 year chart nearly reached (94-95), not a good point to enter unless it breaks through which i doubt as the foreign buying is not strong.

scb: in a steady bullrun but there seems to be a bearish divergance in the macd and rsi.

bay: looks worth a try, might reach 30 again.

ktb: seems to turn upwards and the macd just reverted the sell to a buy, the most promising of the 4 banks

psl: should be a good entry as the macd is turning, but set stop around 23 as there was some weakness today.

tta: weak rsi, macd turning down again, better stay away. if 40 can hold for a couple of days and strength is seen, you could get in, as this would mean a rising support is established since january.

major: doesn't look interesting, you could buy if 19 breaks (6 month horizontal resistance) and watch out for the rising 6 month support around 18 which is the stoploss.

s2y: was close to the rising support, now it seems to be at the parallel resistance, going above 3.1 tomorrow could mean that we see the 1-2 year high at 4-5 very soon, i would rather use a correction to 2.5-2.7 to enter (maybe tomorrow at closing?)

genco: looks interesting, especially in the monthly chart, for st it could be tricky as every volume peak (like today) was the point to get out, but todays candle looks good. try to jump in on a continuing rally with a tight stop.

smit: looks good with important resistance around 2.5 as one can see in the monthly chart. for st it might fluctuate in the up-channel which has been established this year (2.08-2.28)

solar: still below the falling resistance since january, can breakout anytime, watch out for a break of 2.84 tomorrow to jump in.

poems recommendations: if you refer to the stocks i posted the poems comments for: these are given by poems during the lunch break and usually are stocks that had already a strong morning session.

1 tip from me:
mdx: broke this years downresistance and 25 avg on good volume today, we could see 3.7-4 soon (i bought some today)

To Anonymous (better give yourself a nickname for this forum),

KBANK: I checked its five year monthly chart. It's in an uptrend. My advice is if it can not break 93.50, reduce your position.

SCB: pls check its weekly chart and you can see it's been moving up along an uptrend channel. You may do some "sell high & buy low" within the channel. When you notice the uptrend changes, take your profit.

BAY: pls check its monthly chart and you can see it's losing momentum and broke down its original uptrend. If it cannot take out the resistance around 25, take your profit.

KTB: It's near the resistance around 11. If it cannot take it out, take your profit.

PSL: Bottom on 2 March was higher than bottom on 28 Jan. It seems trying to make a rebounce. If you try, stop at 23.60 Good luck.

TTA: If you try, stop at 40.50

MAJOR: It's moving up along the 75 days moving average in the past 2 months. Bighand hold alot of this stock, I do not know why. If you try, stop at 17.80 Good luck.

JAS: wow! Big move-up today. It's up over 30% since our call. The near resistance is around 0.40. You may take some profit if it cannot take out the resistance. Enjoy! :)

TT&T: I told you that a run-up is coming. If you bought, you are happy now. After its correction, it will go up to take out the 1.25 resistance and then move up towards to next target 1.70 where there is some resistance if the case victory is confirmed.

Remember the "50/50 possibility" math theory. Even all our stock calls accuracy is 50/50, you still make profit as long as you cut loss when it's still small. That is why risk management is so important. I think zorro and my stock calls are better than 50/50 theory indicates. Don't you think so?

vng: not sure, the gap might distort the picture (xd?), falling resistance since july needs to be broken.

jst: volume picking up and macd just gave a buy but 1.75 seems to be an important resistance to break (look at the weekly chart for the downresistance) and the important 200 avg is not far away at 1.83, could be worth to try with the 125 avg as stop.

tog: looks good, macd giving a buy, rsi strong but not overbought, slightly above all major avgs, a small stop in the area of 3.75 should do the trick.

PE: Raise LPP to 1.10

CSP: wait and see.

EPCO: pullback about 50%. If you try, set stop at 1.99.

CENTAL: Price stays above major moving averages. It's in an uptrend, but SKD is going down. Wait for breakout.

GSTEEL: Raise LPP to 1.05.

NSM: It cannot take out the 0.32 resistance. Be cautious. Raise LPP to 0.30

THTS: seems it cannot take out the resistance at 2.32. Reduce position.

SSI: moving quite well. Just took out the previous high. Raise LPP to 1.00.

Enjoy! :)

To Anonymous (you'd better give yourself a nickname for this forum),

Pullback mean the price goes down about 50% of the channel high minus channel low. On 4 April 2008, the high was 2.12; on 11 March 2008 the low was 1.89. Pls do the math:
2.12 - 1.89 = 0.23 x 1/2 = 0.11
2.12 - 0.11 = 2.01

Usually when the price can hold above 50% pullback, it's an re-entry. But no rule has no leak.

At Friday, April 11, 2008 2:55:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Answer to your question:

GSTEEL: I can not predict the re-entry point now. Now it's in correction. Pls wait for the re-entry point. Why didn't you buy it earlier? We called this stock several times.

patkl: failed to break the strong 200 avg for the 2nd time but is still above the 125 avg, if this one can't hold we will see a drop to the area where the 25 avg will cross up the 75 avg. (1.4-1.45)

mdx: looks shaky, set stop at 3.08 (25 avg) if you are holding or enter when there are some positive movements.

nch: doesn't look good at the moment

smit: while there seems to be some support around 2.05 it is trading below all avgs due to going xd some days ago. hold with stop 2.04-2.06 which is also the up-channel support.

some interesting charts:

bland: longterm investment for trendchange with small stop at 0.71

iec: next run on the way?

n-park: good support at 0.2

nwr: possibility to enter with a small stop at 0.54

pae: uptrend support since november nearly reached.

syntec: could rebound from channel support at 0.85.

tasco: small double bottom at 18.7 which should be used as stop

tks: uptrend support since november nearly reached.

true: downtrend since july could be broken anytime.

tndt: makes a series of higher lows since beginning of trading, i think you should hold on to it.

ktb: breakout would be closing above 11 which seems to be on the cards.

cpall: rebounded from the 1 year rising support but is close to the 200 avg resistance as well as the for this stock less important 25 and 75 avgs, macd and rsi giving mixed signals, will be like tossing a coin to invest.

tta: one could see the reaction to a rising support line since january, buy and use this line as stop.

kh: 1-year downtrend broken during the last couple of days, today up on better volume. should be a good time to enter now.

ple: one could use the rising support since january as stop (around 4.92), difficult to say when it will start a run.

ai: a not so clear 1-year downtresistance might be in the way of a until now bullish picture.

about my tips from the weekend:

iec: bought before closing at 2.26 and was lucky that the bighands pushed it from 2.24 to 2.34 during ordermatching. will they ramp it up to 7 again?

tasco: went against the trend and one should take the small loss.

tks: took off a bit already

pae: should follow the example of tks soon.

nncl: was recommended by seamico a week ago with support 2-2.1 and resistance 2.5-2.6. i think it will go down a bit further, macd could give a sell signal today, overall sideway trading and doesn't look interesting. watch the falling resistance line since september and buy on breakout (now around 2.26-2.3)
nncl-w1 looks similar. watch the falling resistance line since september and buy on breakout (now at 1.43)

asimar: use rising support since januaru (now at 1.09) for stoploss.

ccet-w1: looks still ok to hold with stop 1.22 but ccet looks a bit weak, moving along the falling resistance since january and could make another sharp drop to the area of 4.5, so be careful

nep: macd will give a sell signal soon, rsi not strong enough, stay away.

Scrt4u - pls adv your recommendations for PE. The price pattern seems very very strange since last week especialy today. I was quite sure it will hit the ceiling and stay there for the close today; but it eased back down on the close. What is your recommendation? Thanks.

Umi san

At Friday, April 18, 2008 2:14:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

kce: difficult, seems to be some resistance now at 3.5, but the support at 3.25 is very good and important, mac and rsi look ok, above 25 and 75 avg but the 200 avg is not far and could be at the same level as a possible falling resistance since october. better to choose a stock that is more clear.

hana: looks not good, still not oversold enough to risk an entry for a possible rebound.

pe: usually runs together with pl which hit ceiling today. there is a resistance at 1.5, maybe the major punters wanted to get their money out a bit earlier, the good point is that the 200 avg should be cleared this time but entering now could be too risky as it might fall back to 1.2-1.3 where one could buy in.

To Umi san,

PE: Too big volume to hit the ceiling on 17 April 08. You should have reduced at least half of your position on 17 April. Look at its major moving average lines. They are all under the price and in the up direction. Re-enter when the price is pulled back or after the it finishes consolidation. Enjoy! :)

mida: i might re-enter today as the 200 avg area seems to work as support together with 2 parallel rising support lines fom 14.3. and 17.3., should go to 1.5 one more time (or even higher to 2), using 1.14 as stop

iec: sold yesterday as it reached a rising resistance since 6th of march, might close the gap at 2.4, if it is going above 2.76 intraday today it might be worth to chase it for very st only as the rsi is getting into an area where it should have a major correction.

apure: found the 200 avg as well as the falling resistance line since july and retreated, time to take profit but re-enter if 2.85 is broken and look then for a run to 3.5 or a bit higher.

zmico-w3: only 1 year to go and a b&s value of 0.04, better not to touch it and go for the mothershare instead, but wait a bit to break the downresistance since july around 3.32.

asp-w1: only 6 month to go but closer to the b&s value of 1.44, it got a downresistance since november around 1.65, possible it will break next week.

lee: was lacking of trading volume for a long time, if it can continue to be active the warrant should be rewarding with a gearing of 12.

lee-w1: downtrend broken yesterday on strong volume, should have been a buy this morning.

cfresh: turning around with a falling resistance in the 5 year chart at 2.1, could be worth a try to bet on a breakout to 2.5

tipco: looks ok

BLISS: In the near term, the stock is in a recovery mode with a bullish candlestick signal. The odds are that the stock price will continue its move higher. ‘Trading BUY’ with barrier pegged at Bt0.77-Bt0.82 and support at Bt0.67-Bt0.65. Cut loss if the share prices close below Bt0.63.

To HK,

NWR: this stock is now moving at the low price area. Although you got burnt several times, I suggest you buy some now.

How to buy?

If you planned budget is baht 1000,000, use the following strategy to buy:

First step: use 25% of your planned budget, namely 250,000 to buy your first position (you may use 15 minutes chart to find the low to and buy in several lots).

Watch the price. If it moves up, move your Lock Profit Point. This is a continuous process. When the up trend starts losing momentum, sell your NWR. This is what we hop, but

If the price goes down, hold it, when your loss is 15%, double average it down, namely use another 250,000 to buy. After this average down, your cost should be
around 7.5%.

If the price further moves down another 15% or more, use 500,000 to double down your cost, this step is very important, you have to be very sure it is the bottom.

This is a brave stategy, some of my friends use it successfjully. But it can not guarantees you can use it successfully too.

Hope it is helpful. I am not responsible for your loss. Take very good care of your money.

Good luck.

To moe,

PE: now it is in correction. I can not predict it. Wait until it finises the correction.

PSAP: Now resistance is the 75 days moving average, supports are the 10 and 25 days moving average. It's up for three days. Seems in a small up trend. If you try, stop at 1.17.

To pau,

TGPRO: your profit is over 55% if you sold it at today's high. Congrats!!! :)

AI: the major moving average seems tied up together. It must be waiting for something. Price will have a breakout: UP or down. Keep an eye on it.

evil twins, hahaha, no, i am not an insider, there are just some charts that are obvious and easy to read, like perm. this flag pattern was beautiful and because of the long run before the flag a similar long run can be expected afterwards. (great call, scrt4u, also got the timing perfect). the triangle resistance was 2.8 for today and look at the intraday chart what happened: sideways trading for a while and as soon as 2.82 was broken, the run started.

my tgpro tip from today was also obvious, consolidation for a couple of days and today the next upturn in which i bought in (also sold at 1.18 already, too early but better than a loss)

now compare the chart of tgpro with mida, then you know why i bought in today and hope to get some nice profit next week. but as usual, not all predictions come true and therefore if the stock changes the predicted trend (goes below 1.14) one has to stop out.

pe: i mentioned that one can enter between 1.2 and 1.3 which is already reached, but to avoid catching a falling knife one is better off to wait for some support area in the next few days to show up.

SEAFCO: it has been moving sideway above major moving averages. Maybe it's accumulating energy to take out the resistance at 6.35. Good luck.

zorro, thanks for you nice words.
I am not a insider as pau thinks. I am just a "coin tosser + blind guess + chart reading + experiences from many other good traders and investors.

zorro, even your prediction cannot come true, you have the "50/50 possibility math theory" and "small loss cutting strategy" to guarantee you to earn BIG than loose small.

my charts are not updated with fridays figures so i can't give any recommendations, but finance should do well next week.

property: the sector is now at a horizontal channel resistance in a 4 year chart, lets see whether it can break it in the coming weeks, then it should be important to look at the individual property stocks.

tips from seamico for next week:
APURE, KSL, LST, TVO, PERM, GSTEEL, SSI, TGPRO, TMB, BAY, KBANK, KK, LANNA, TOP, MDX, PTTEP, SAM, EWC, TYM, TCC, NVL, BSEC, PHATRA and PE
