sport-w2: too expensive due to low volatility of sport (b&s value = 0.05)

nncl-w1: b&s 1 baht, but there is a falling resistance since end of september which was touched last friday and is now retreating. buy on breakout or on weakness (1.35-1.4) but cut loss if it goes below 1.35 or nncl below 2.06.

uv-w1: b&s 0.87, close to rising support in 1 year chart at 1.4 but there could be a bearish triangle in the making (res. 1.7). you could try play this range.

To pau,

CPF: connect all the lows since mid Marck of this year, you can see it seems a support. Last trading day's volume was relatively big. What caused it to be so big? If you enter, stop tight. Good luck.

TRUE: Touching lower edge of the downtrend channel. wait and see.

MIDA: seems forming a horizontal platform. If try, stop = 0.85 Good luck.

PREB: strong buy with a stop acceptable to you.

sam-w1: although it looks good compare to the fair value i would rather stay away or gamble with sam (which made a new low and seems to go down further) because the gearing is only 1.3.
at least wait a couple of days till the stock or warrant trades sideways before you enter.

distar: the downresistance since july is not broken yet (0.48). If it breaks there could be a w-reversal with st-resistance at 0.5 and then a strong target / resistance at 0.57-0.6
if you enter use 0.44 as stop.

scrt4u what is your comment about ynp?

thanks
pau

At Thursday, December 13, 2007 3:21:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To pau,

YNP: you should lock your profit when it broke (down) support at 4. As I told you, the punters are not retailer-friendly. It's hard to guess how deep they will shake it. 0.618 or 0.382 or 50%?

It seems to me that YNP is your earning stock. Remember: Never let your earning stock become losing stock even it makes 2-3% for you. If you took your positions under 3.5, you'd better lock some of your profit so that you have some "profit-cusion" and not worry about it shakeouts.

Hope helpful to you.

some stocks to watch this week:

1. stocks with a nice downtrend resistance line (short or medium term), buy on breakout:
asl, csp-w1, ever, gbx, mida, syntec

2. stocks with uptrend support lines:
iec: nice upchannel support at 1.15
de: entry at st uptrend support 0.83 - 0.85
cig-w1: uptrend support in 1 year chart but beware possible resistance of 25 day avg at 3

3. rebound plays with setting a tight stop:
sam: could rebound to 25 day avg at 2.5-2.6
tk: looks like turning around but beware of a possible res. at the 75 day avg.

4. others:
sattel: in a bearish triangle with narrow support / resistance range of 9.5-10, act on breakout
tmb: downtrend might be broken or could break this week, line not clear
bliss-w1: undervalued since a long time, b&s-value around 3.7 (that is a 135% upside while most warrants trade above the b&s-value), now overbought (rsi=88) and the volume at alltime high (bliss volume same as 1 year high); there are news about capital increase and a new warrant issue, so it might be that like usual the stock will be ramped up till xw-date. might be good to enter tomorrow on weakness or if bliss drops to 6.5, but it might be tricky and for the experienced daytrader only or buy small portions. bliss has a channel resistance at around 8.6 where you could sell the warrant.

I bought BBL at 117 last week, just before it fell to 115, and to 113 earlier.

I suppose the support is around 112, but do you have any advise scrt?

At Monday, December 17, 2007 9:25:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To seizhin,

You are right.

BBL: Today its price closed near 112 which could be a little support. The holiday is coming, fund managers would not like to accumulate too many shares before going on holidays.

If 112 breaks, cut loss (it's a 4% loss) and find another opportunity to enter.

Thanks for the advise, I'll keep that in mind to cut loss if it breaks lower than 112.

a quick update on some of my tips:

gbx: broke the downtrend resistance at 1.4 today. did you jump in? i guess tomorrow we see a correction as there is a possible st-resistance around 1.5-1.55 but longterm holders should not worry too much.

syntec: should be the next one to make an upside swing as it looks like the support at 0.8 is holding. you could give it a try and buy now with stop 0.8.

iec: turned as expected at the channel support at 1.15 (i bought some). sell at the channel res. around 1.28-1.3.

sam: looks like to have a run soon. bought some today. set stop around 1.75.

sattel: seems to break the triangle to the downside.

tmb: support at 1.4 seems to hold despite foreign selling and the index in the red. a good opportunity with a small stoploss at 1.4.

bliss-w1: still outperforming.

At Tuesday, December 18, 2007 10:00:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

jas: good horizontal support at 0.37 in the yearly chart. today strong buying at closing (6 million shares at 0.4 while 0.39 was not traded at all). could be in for something tomorrow.

mlink: seems to be supported by the 75 avg at 0.95 but the 25 avg at 1.06 might stall it. if it breaks 1.06 it could be worth a chase.

At Tuesday, December 18, 2007 10:02:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

correction for jas: i meant the monthly chart (or 4 years).

some recommendations from seamico techi during this week which are also on our list:
bliss: sup. 6.1-6.3, res. 8.5-8.7
iec: sup. 1.1-1.15, res. 1.35 and later 1.73
tk: sup. 4-4.1, res. 4.3-4.4
tks: sup.3.7-3.9, res. 4.3-4.5
sam: sup. 1.7-1.8, res. 2.8-3.0
win: sup. 1-1.1, res 1.4-1.5

update on some of my tips:
ever: reached the 25 avg at 1.7, breached it but got restrained by the 75 avg at 1.79 to close at the 25 avg., likely to correct tomorrow and continue the overall downtrend, unless 1.79 can be taken out. in this case the 125 and 200 avg are close to eachother at 1.9, so only a bit daytrading should be done.
gbx: retracted a bit as expected, the 25 avg should be support and stop (1.4)
mida: broke st-downtrend and closed green despite the set going down. could be turning now but medium downresistance and 25 avg are close at 0.89 and coming down steep.

some other stocks that could be worth a punt:
mme: looks like turning after a steep decline. volume is very weak so play with pocketmoney only.
tfi: found support at 75 avg and closed green today. rebound to 25 avg at 0.95 possible.
brook: looks like a st-support at 0.58 after touching it 4 times during the last 6 sessions. an opportunity with tight stop at 0.58 and watch resistance at 25 or 75 avg., tomorow we will know whether the downtrend or support breaks.

Please could you explain why sam has res. around 2.26 ?
I see it around 2.20.

sam: you are right. 2.26 is the 25 avg indicated on my chart after yesterdays closing (poems does not indicate the value with todays stockprice). if one has a chart that takes todays value in count or extrapolate the line for today it would be around 2.20

lvt-w1: is "only" 25 % lower than b&s. the mother share makes a bearish triangle but tries to break out to the upside today. if it fails, support could be the uptrend in the 1 year chart at 1.82 for lvt. all in all it could be worth a try.

cig-w1: is valued similar but broke the uptrend in the 1 year chart. now it is fighting with the 25 avg (the 75 avg just a bit higher) as well as a st downresistance at 2.8 and i think it will lose the fight. a close above 2.75 today would give hope, a close or intraday jump above 2.8 would be better.

secc-w1 is 40 % below b&s, so it is expensive for the long run. don't know if the small doublebottom is worth to bet on a rebound.

lst: the 75 avg proved to be a support and now it tries to break the 25 avg back again, which is near a possible triangle resistance. could be worth to chase if it goes again above 2.44 intraday today with a tight stop near 2.38

cpf: cheap in the 1 year chart but overall bearish.

kmc: needs to break the downresistance at 0.85 before it is wort the risk

siam: always good for a surprise, but the 75 avg (now at 4.5) seems to play an important roll.

tgpro: too risky to enter now.

pe: buy with a stop at the 25 avg around 1 as this could be a 1 or 2 day wonder.

pt: similar to pe although it hasn't broken the 25 avg yet. looks at the moment the weaker opportunity and i would not buy (yet).

At Wednesday, December 26, 2007 3:38:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To pau,

lst: it has brokenout a triangle pattern, chase with tight stop.

cpf: wkly chart shows it's reboucing from a double bottome. Chase with stop at 4.45. A 2% risk.

kmc: chase with stop at 0.79. A 5% loss risk.

siam: it has broken (up) a "flag pattern". Chase with stop at 4.20 or tight stop. Good luck. You should chase it 2 trading days ago.

tgpro: I checked its monthly chart which shows that its MACD is up. I do not know its recent fundamental. zorro said it's too risky. What has brought the price down from 35 something to current under 1. If you like, just play small position for "fun".

correction about the b&s values: secc-w1, cig-w1 and lvt-w1 are trading ABOVE the b&s values (but as most of the warrants are much higher than this theoretical value, lvt-w1 would be still in the cheaper range)
bliss-w1 has still some upside to its b&s-value of now 6.1 but i think now around 5 is a good opportunity to cash in.

zorro, thanks for your advice on BLISS-W1. Great call!!!

lst: managed to close above the 25 avg, seamico recommends to buy with sup.2.2-2.4 and res. 3.8-4

gbx: fell back below 125 and 200 avg, 75 avg (1.5) should be the next support = new entry or lpp, if you want to hold longer or miss the stop, the 25 avg at 1.42 should be the last point to quit.

mida: mentioned it a couple of days ago when it turned. now the 25 avg and downres. in the area of 0.83-0.85 will be reached. without a volume surge it will fail, so prepare to take profit. if it breaks 0.85 with decent volume tomorrow it will be worth to chase

mme: up 10% since my recommendation a few days ago, volume still a bit weak and 25 avg approaching at 2.2 where it will likely stall. better take profit. should it go strong and break 2.2, the next strong resistance is the 75 avg.

s2y: i recommended this stock on 8th of november at 1.66 with a stop of 1.65. although it broke my a bit too tight selected stoploss it had a run shortly after. now it has developed a nice rising support line since november and is close to it which is a good entry opportunity with stop tomorrow at 1.78 or jump on if it can go above 1.9 which could result in a big run.

sam: was the approximity of the 25 avg a reason that it didn't continue the rally in the afternoon? watch 2.12 tomorrow which will be important to break.

syntec: not flying as expected but still worth a try. tomorrow it needs to be strong, if weak it will go below the 25 avg and one should better reduce or sell to avoid losses on the trade. if you can afford a little loss, use 0.79-0.8 as stop.

brook: recommended a few days ago it is up but touched the 25 avg and needs strong volume. better take profit now and buy back on breakout above 0.64.

pe: if you jumped in when i recommended a buy today you should be in profit. it breached the 75 avg slightly only, whether it will continue tomorrow to the 125 avg at 1.26 or correct first is not clear. 1.5 would be a good point to sell.

pt: closed above 25 avg but could not clearly break the downresistance since july which is more important. needs more volume for a run. breaking 2.56 could be worth to jump on.

to ueda:
will do my best to give a daily update, at least on some of the stocks that i have mentioned, but due to my unstable internet connection it is not always possible. there are always new possibilities coming up but the more i put on a watch, the more likely is it to miss out on an older recommendation that breaks out during intraday. if somebody bought into a stock and misses my comments, don't hesitate to ask for it. i am giving detailed explanitions so it is easier for readers to follow the trend and act accordingly, but if somebody has a different view, please let me know, as i might have overlooked certain indicators.

kh: your pick looks good as it is trying now to break out to the upside of a triangle.

emc: reached the two highs of october which where restricted by the 200 avg and might fail to go further, but this time the macd looksd better so i suggest to hold.

hmpro is lacking of volume, doesn't look promissing but since you bought in already you can hold on.

bwg is looking good and developed a rising support line from 19.11. which is near the 25 avg., if you buy or hold set a stop at 7.4

At Thursday, December 27, 2007 11:39:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

distar: is breaking the october downresistance and 25 avg today. resistance could be the downchannel since february, now around 0.57. stop at 0.44

a quick update:

sam struggled at 2.12 again, so i sold to buy back later, maybe at todays closing.

mida: reached the downresistance which is a good opportunity to take profit. one can still buy back on a breakthrough.

mme: cut through the 25 avg on good volume so it is still advisable to hold.

syntec is strong as it needed to be, so hold on.

brook: weak volume, better take profit.

Thanks in advance.

To seizhin,

MK: I suggest you to chase this stock. It just moved up a little today. Buy in several lots so that you can have a relatively low cost. Use the low of Yestoday as stop. Good luck.

scrt4u, zorro your view on PF & ECL?

ueda

At Thursday, December 27, 2007 8:42:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

s2y: came close to the 200 avg which is usually a strong resistance in cases like this, unless there are news out that would justify the jump. take your quick profit and re-enter around 2 when the 125 is reached.
if it can break 2.4 there could be a lot further upside, maybe to 4 or 5?

syntec: not so sure about this, the avgs seem to have less influence and a former horizontal support line in the range of 0.9-0.95 might be all we can see. maximum upside should be 1.2, the horizontal channel in the weekly chart.
hold it, raise your lpp and be happy to have a winner.

amc: turning around slowly. a stop at 2.1 will bring a small loss only or wait for it to close above the 25 avg at 2.18

ascon: made a jump above the 75 avg today which can be used as stop (5.9). 6.5 might be a bit of a resistance, afterwards it can fly. disregard the lt avgs if your chart shows the gap between 8.5 and 12 which might have been a right issue and was not corrected in the data collection.

mme: possibly will continue the upswing to 2.5-2.7

sam: only a light retraction today but it showed the importance of the 25 avg. it is still hot so it could continue the run at any time.

pe: the 75 avg proved to act as resistance (or was it a kind of downtrend resistance since june?), the downside to the 25 avg support is big, one could sell and enter lower (1.01-1.05) using the 25 avg as stop. breaking above 1.2 would be bullish (i guess the 125 avg at 1.26 will play a minor role only).

mk: the daily chart doesn't look that promising, but the monthly chart has a nice rising support since may 2004. too good to miss for lt players.

At Thursday, December 27, 2007 8:56:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

pf: the 21th had a signal to enter, now it seems to be a bit late. the 5 year chart looks good, so lt players could take it in the portefolio, although 5 will be a strong resistance. buy on weakness???

ecl: the 50 avg seems the one that is important for ecl and it bounced back today, even going slightly below the 25 avg. not a good sign. i would wait till next week and decide if to enter or not.

zorro, scrt4u what about csp-w1, it closed higher ,watch-w1,uv-w1ap,preb,patkl?

thanks

pau

At Friday, December 28, 2007 9:24:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

csp-w1: too expensive with a b&s value of 0.02. it had a bit rebound but touched already the st-resitance of 0.5.

match-w1 (if this was the one you meant): worthless with b&s=0.

uv-w1 is also not a bargain with a b&s around 0.78. uv could not go above the 25 avg and is likely do go down although it should have a rising support in the daily chart at 2.5 while the warrant rose without volume and encounters several resistances soon (maximum to 1.6)

ap: overall bullish but should face a resistance in the area now of 6.5 for a couple of days where the 25 avg crosses down the 75 avg. buy on a small dip with stop around 5.9 (=200 avg)

preb: looks good, but i would recommend a tight stop as it might not close above the 25 avg in case it is weak today due to the other markets being weak. could reach 1.5.

patkl: you can buy now (preferably on weakness) with a stop at 1.6 but i would prefer to buy if it can stay above 1.73 for a few days (or moves strongly above 1.73 during intraday) as this is the area of the 25 avg and the former st-support in nov./dec.
