Kim Eng recommends the following mid-small caps;

BEC, BAFS , HMPRO, VNG, MCS, SAT, QH, and OISHI.

and an avoid on TT&T amongst others

your thoughts on the above please.

ps always look forward to your view points as the big security companys not always correct esp on daytrades.

They are at best clueless, but an avoid rating such as TT&T is always worth investigating as a potential buy. TT&T chart is interesting.

Most such as BEC, BAFS HMPRO are alreadyvat multiyrear highs and could go higher but in real terms offer huge downside risk and maybe not much upside. VNG chart looks interesting but be aware it is a KEST pet that they CONSTANTLY push. They pushed it all the way as it went down from 2003 high. I think they are loaded with stock - maybe management pulled something on them in 2002-3 rise and left them carrying a lot of stock.

Beware fat men or khon kaek pushing VNG.

Thanks for Lord Knobhead's comment.

To donnyboy,

securities firm's major job is to influence their clients to trade stocks as frequent as possible because every trade, now matter it is sell or buy, you have to pay commission. This is the way they make profit. Why is Kim Eng advising you to avoid TT&T? They are ... Use your imagination...

We advise you pay attention to TT&T, accumulate this stock, but you still set a stop point because the major play can still make some shakeouts if they think it is neccessary.

Now let me make some blind guess on your stocks picks as follows:

BEC: It has been in an uptrend channel since March 2006. During this period, it broke downward the 75 days verage moving line for 3 times (check the chart). Now It is above 75 DMA. If you try it, set stop at 75DMA or 22.90.

BAFS: This stock has been up in an uptrend channel along 25 days moving average line since Febuary 2007. It is still staying in the uptrend channel. If you try it, use 25 days moving average as your stop loss.

HMPRO: Just after brokeout is "flag pattern" and seems forming a horizontal above 5.50. Fan-unfolding. If try, set stop at 5.5 or acceptable to yourself.

VNG: Brokeout the previous uptrend channel (connect the previous 3 highs and you can see the channel). If you try it, use 10 days EMA as your stop.

MCS: After topping last November, it has been vibrating within a horizontal channel between 3.25 - 4.00. Now it is near the up line of the channel. Do the math. The profit is about 9% to the resistance at 4. I suggest you wait for break out.

SAT: It's been in uptrend since end of January of 2007. Just brokeout the uptrend channel. If you try, I suggest you to set stop around 12.25.

QH: in uptrend since 12 Jan. 2007. If you try, set stop at 1.5

OISHI: seems a little late to chase, but if you try, use very tight stop.

Good luck.

SINGER: brokeout. If chase, use tight stop. Good luck.

KGI: brokeout previous 2 highs, if chase, set stop at 2.00. Good luck.

To Sharp,

TMB: it's on our cooking list for some time. You should have made some profit from this stock if you took our advice. Move LPP to 2.10.

KTB: Seems accumulating energy to breakout rest. around 12 -12.50.

BBL: in uptrend but seems resistance around 120. Wait and see.

SET: set is breaking its previous high, reaching 790 with very little effort. 800 is a very important phycologic level. See SET fly soon if I am not wrong.

GEN: still looking nice, above 10, 25 and 75 days moving average line.

PLE: Just brokeout its downtrend. Move LPP to 6.75 or highe.

FNS: start rebouncing after correction.

LALIN: This stock has been moving horizontally within a narrow channel. It seems preparing a breakout. Chase with stop around 4.35. Good luck.

To DB,

As long as you open an account in one of the several biggest securities firms in Thailand, you are entitled to access their charts for technical anylasys. It is worth to open an account:

Kim ENG,
ASP,
Seamico,
KGI,
Fillip,
etc.

At Monday, July 02, 2007 5:35:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To JJ,

click the link named "Profiles of SET stocks" in the sidbar menu of this blog. Key in "TT&T" in the upper right corner blank and then click the major shareholders. Now you can see the citigroup is holding 8.71% of the shares.

Another big guy is GOLDMAN SACHS INTERNATIONAL, which is holding 4.32% shares. Kim Eng advised you to avoid this stock. Why did these two super stock players still holds so many shares? What would Kim Eng like to do? Use your imagination to think about it...

I can tell you our blog is the most honest and valueable stock forum on the stock investment technical anylasys in the world free of charge. There are many good service, but they need to pay high membership fee. Our blog is FREE of Charge.

nsm-w1: my view hasn't changed. maybe you haven't noticed that there wasn't any bid at 0.08. tomorrow the warrant could close 25 % down at 0.07. (my guess is that it will close at 0.08, unless there is a rally of nsm).
with one spread being 12 % you can win or lose a lot. if you need to get out because things turn sour, you have to sell into the bid and will lose more than you hoped to gain.
of course it is possible (and we have seen this many times) that the warrant will be manipulated and pushed up, but unless you know what the players are doing it is better to play safe.

scrt4u, I know that this is your blog. I am working as mkt at ASP, and I am accidentally known JJ might want to open an account with thai securities firm. Thus, is it alright to give JJ my email?, Then I can help him to open an account with me. The reason that why I ask you b/c I do not want to use your blog to gain my business. Anyway, I like your and zorro comments very much, it is very useful info.

To ASP question above,

You may promote your business by making contributions, like stock picks, comments, advices, etc., with a small signature box at the end of your post. It has to be related with stocks investment.

If you just put your email here, you can not establish your credibility and how could customer choose you to open an account with your company?

We told you CSP has been quietly cooking. Do you believe now? There is still great protential for this stock. Chase it with your gut. Set stop at your acceptable level. Enjoy our fans. 100% profit is not difficult for this stock. Mark my words and prove I am wrong.

Please comment on UMS, UNIQ and JAS

Thanks for your valuable advice
Peter

At Tuesday, July 03, 2007 6:48:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To Peter:

UMS: This stock has bee a profit making stock. It has been moving up over 310% since our call July last year. Please notice that there was a big volume on 20 June 2007. Then the price moved sideway. Could this be a distribution or not? Be cautious. Most of the time it has been moving along the 15 days moving average line. You are advised to use this 10-15 DMA line as a "profit locking" or "position reduction" line.

UNIQ: We recommended this stock. Now it seems there is resistance around 3.55-3.70. Move LPP to 3.42.

JAS: brokeout today with big volume. Move LPP to 0.51

Hope helpful to you.

To paul,

CSP: the major players gapped up open at 2.54 and distributed. This is only a small rally. My blind guess is that it most probably targets at 4.50 or higher. Be patient to enjoy the yummy "food".

SET: My blind guess is if SET can stay above 800, then the next target is around 900. Good luck.

At Wednesday, July 04, 2007 4:10:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To pau,

NNCL: it had it big rally 4 Oct. - 23 Nov. 2006 and then pulled back about 50% now. I think it is still waiting for breakout (upward or downwar?)

D1: This stock is now in its 50% pullbak position, waiting for breakout.

TGCI: Looks like cooking. Stop = 1.15

UKEM: Looks OK. Seems preparing a brokeout upward. Set stop at 10 DMA.

PYLON: After about 50% pullback, it seems rebouncing.

SICCO: Chase with stop at 4.28. You have the final say.

PAE: It looks 1.20 is a support line. You can accumulate as long as this support line does not break downward.

N-PARK: Looks similar as PAE. But this company is a broke one. No good at fundamental at all.

To UK

EPCO: still alive. It's been moving sidway, seeming in a consolidation, then breakout (most probably upward). Set LPP/Stop at 10 Days moving average line.

NWR: In correction. You should have taken profit yestoday because the candlestil turned red, could not take out the previous high and volume decreased. I advice you to reduce position.

BFIT: this stock brokeout today while SET is in correction. Move LPP to 7.40 Enjoy! :)

ZMICO-W3: Move LPP to 1.4 or higer.

RS: seems rebouncing. Good luck.

PS: move LPP to 7.75

APURE: move LPP to 2.5 or higher.

IRPC: move LPP to 6.25 or higher.

TT&T: while SET is correcting, this stock is moving up. But move LPP to 1.20. It seems some profittaking today.

MIDA: Gapped up toaday with volume. If chase, set stop at 1.79 Good luck.

Recently SET trading volume is relatively big, so the securities stocks, like KGI, ASP, KEST, etc has performed quite well because the bigger trade volume, the more commission they make from clients' trading.

To KM,

Today set gapped up, your KTB also moved up and now you are in profit. Set stop at 13.10.

TMB: how could you get it at 3? You got stuck in it before? This stock has protential to go up. Now it pullbacked about 50% and nearing the 10 days moving average. I blindly guess, you should increase your position to average down your cost when the price stablizes.

TRUE: KM, as you can see today it took out its previous resistance at 8.90, you are advised to move LPP to 9.95 or higher because it is still in very strong up.

You are doing very well. Cheers and be confident of your decision. The most important job is risk control by cutting loss and regulating your position.

BFIT: If you bought it when it brokeout on 5 July 07, you are now in profit of 10%. If you bought it earlier when it broke out on 28 June 07, you are now in profit of 20%. If you bought it further earlier on 30 May 07, you are now in profit of over 40%, maybe you make profit for two times (two cycles).

Jack, TT&T has just broken out its horizontal channel and has upside protential ahead. I think you can buy a little at tight stop. When it pulls back, you can double. My blind guess is their target is at least 2.35 for this year! Good luck. In any case, you must set a stop to protect your principal. Good luck, Jack.

As to some securities stocks:

ASP: continues to moving up because of the big set trade volume. Move LPP to 4.35

KEST: failed to break out yestoday, today its low touched the important 10 days moving average. If the support at 10 DMA breaks downward, exit or reduce position.

TNITY: Yestoday it failed to make new high. Its originanl uptrend is broken. Now it seems moving sideway or making correction. Be cautious.

To donnyboy,

Barton is a very good site. My views as follows:

SVI: From a macro-view, it's struggling to stay above the original trend channel upper line after breakout. From a microview, it seems consolidating along the 10DMA. If you try, use 1.45 as stop.

KCE: Now in downtrend after brokout the 10DMA. Wait and see.

SIRI: After brokeout, it's now in W2. If chase, use tight stop.

QH: read my comment above this one today.

HEMRAJ: in uptrend. When a stock is in uptrend, you can chase at any point with tight stop. Next resistance is around 1.35

BLAND: It seems there are resistance around 1.06. It failed to take it over for two times. Now it looks like a small "M" pattern. Wait and see or avoid it.

JAS: It already broke its downtrend channel. But I think it's better to chase when it pulls back.

KEST: read comment above this post

KBANK: It's a little risky to chase now. You should chase when it just brokeout.

BAY: we reccommmended this stock after the coup. If you took our advice and bought, now you are in profit of over 55%. The chart shows that after the recent gap-up, it is now struggling to say above 27.50. If you are interested, you can try your luck with this 27.50 or 26.25 as your stop. Good luck.

thanks,

Horny

At Wednesday, July 11, 2007 1:10:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To Horny,

IEC: This stock is doing a shakout today, down about 14%. Why? I blindly guess that the someone bought 46 million shares just before the market closed yestoday. 46 million shares? Which major punter will be happy to cook for these 46 million shares. Punters will force the shareholder of these 46 millions to cut loss.

Take a look at IEC's chart (from July 2005 - now), you can see clearly that IEC's price is reset and at the 2-years history low. There are big upside protential for this stock. Wait and see, Horny.

TMB: Look at the its chart. This stock was cooking at a price platform about 3 baht (21 Nov.2006 - 12 Dec.2006). It broke downward the support channel on 14 Dec. 2006. You had 3 days to cutloss and exited. What did you do in those 3 days? I advised you many time that cutloss when your loss is still small.

That is why I always advise you not to use more than 10% of your total money to buy one single stock. If you only spend less than 10% of your total money, your maximum loss is 10% even the stock is delisted, becomes a toilette paper, zero... Have I made myself clear enought?

So what if you have 10 positions at 10% each and for example the BoT imposes a 30% witholding tax on equities before the market opens and the stocks you own are down 30% at the open as was the case when they did this?

It should be clear that it is NOT always as easy as just cutting loss at 10%...................

At Wednesday, July 11, 2007 8:06:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To very angry,

It is not wise to spend all your money by 10 positions (10 different stocks) without money in hand. It's better to always have some cash on hand. It is an extreme sitution that all stocks fall 30% in one day, such as the 11 Septem event. Usually we recommend a stock when its price at valley (relative bottom, or even reset). At this time the supper bighands have put alot of shares in their pockets. How could it crash 30% in one day?

Conclusively, the possibility of the situation you supposed is very, very small.

Start from small and gradually increase you position. Don't dream to get rich overnight on the stock market.

You should be very cautious on every entry, especially just after you buy in. At this time you have not yet got any profit as a "protection cusion", you have to glue your eyes on your computer screen. Some professional punters in wall street got big loss just because of going to the toilette or having a short coffee break.

Hope helpful to you.

PSAP the widowmaker stock is warming up. Fundamentals are so bad that the owners are probably more interested in getting the stock up so they can get out than continuing running the business. Should be renamed Malengsap as it scuttles across the floor of the exchange, but who knows, cockroaches have been known to fly.

Thight stop na, children.

Other cooking stocks like EVER STHAI SMIT PERM still need time to prepare the meals. Be patient to wait, just quietly sit at the table. If the chefs quit, you leave the table(cutloss).

At Friday, July 13, 2007 1:43:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

To UK,

It does not matter if a stock runs up after you cutloss. This further implies that the major players are always so cunning. Why not chase after NWR moved up? NWR is still a very good stock. It is ready to fly. The supper bighand Morgan Stanley is the largest shareholder of this stock. It is also a joint venture between Italy and Thailand. Fundamentally it is good. Don't care about a little loss. It will finally reward your invest as long as you are patient. If you do not have it, I still suggest you buy some. Don't buy in one big lot. Buy in several small amount so that you can get a relative low cost.

CSP: Don't be cheated by its current silence. This stock has big upside protential because its price is already reset to the historic bottom and history will repeat(price will go up). This is a local capital driven stock.

EPCO: we reccommended this stock when is was only 0.60. Check its chart and you can see, now it is 28% if you hold it. Now it is trying to make new high, sealing the gap (29-30 May 2007).

You are advised not fully loaded, always keep some cash in hand so that you can do some super short term play for pocket money.

Hope helpful to you.

N-park: This is a successful chase. When I called it, it was 2:48 in the afternoon and the price was 0.23. If you chased it (buy some) and set a tight stop, now you are in profit of 25%. This is how to chase a stock. Of course sometimes after chase-in, the price goes down, in this case you can average down once or exit.

You can practice this chase know-how with small amount and after you learn it, you can gradually increase you chase amount.

Enjoy the 25% profit today on this speculative stock.

TUCC: it is already up over 65% since our call. Today it made a price gap compared with yestoday.
Move your LPP to at 7.95. If this support is broken downward, Lock your profit no questions asked. Enjoy! :)

PSAP: wow! A big gap-up today. Move LPP to 1.30. If 1.3 support breaks, lock your profit no questions asked. Enjoy! :)

BTC: continues moving up. Move LPP to 1.20. Enjoy!:)

TUCC: today this stock made another gap-up. It's up 80% since our call. Usually when a stock makes a second gap-up, you have to be careful. Move LPP to 9.05. If this 9.05 gap tries to seal or breaks downward, lock your profit no questions asked.

KGI: this stock brokeout with big volume again today. SET trading volume keeps in good area, so I blindly guess it is the reason. Move LPP/stop to 2.78.

KMC: this is ueda's stock pick if I am not wrong. Good call. It continues moving up. Now move LPP to 1.36 or higher.

N-PARK: after our successful chase, it now seems brokeout again. It's up 30% since our "call fo chase". Move LPP to 0.29

EMC: took out the previous high. If you have this stock, move LPP to 3.5

PRO: this stock brokeout with big volume. Use tight LPP to lock your profit if it won't feed you profit. I mean you can regulate your position.

TKT: brokeout. If you chase, set tight stop.

CPN: keeps moving up very well. Move LPP to 31.75 or higher.

I took some good profit on UMS but now it seems to breakout again. Guess it could be because of free warrants to be issued soon?
Anyway appreciate your advice scrt4u.

To DB,

GC: it seems 3.16 is a little support. If you try, set stop at 3.16.

UKEM: trying to breakout but lacks confidence. If chase, use very tight stop and small position to try, after you get profit cusion, IP.

TOG: It pulled back about 50% but still under 10DMA and 10DEMA. If try, set stop at 2.30.

To Peter,

Congrats on your profit on UMS. Don't blame yourself for the breakout again today. No one can alwasy sell at the top. If you like, you can chase UMS with tight stop and small position. Your explanation for the breakout today is most probably correct. Good luck. As too warrant, pls ask advice from zorro.

To ken,

ADAM: I don't think this stock will fly. If the people told you on 5 Oct. 2006 or last April of this year, I believe it. Now this stock has made two big waves. It is near the previous high at 4.38. Better do not believe this rumor. You have the final say.

TGPRO: Did you chase this stock? I did. I got some at 1.10. Now I got some "profit cusion". This is the way to chase. Enjoy! :)

WIN: brokeout. Do you dare chase? If you are not confident, you can try with a small position and very tigh stop. Gradually you got the sense of how-to. Good luck! :)

If you can not make money by reading this blog, we don't know where can you get this kind of free of charge advice.

To UK,

You don't have more cash on hand? Next time pls do not spend more than 10% of your total money on a single stock no matter how good the stock is and how confident you are. If you spent 10% on TT%T and 10% on NWR, you still have 80% cash. You can spend 10% on TGPRO today. Am I right? Don't worry too much. NWR and TT&T will reward you. The problem is your greed monster in your heart tease you when you see other good stokcs.

When we call a stock, do not spend 10% of your total money to buy it, do not buy in one big log. Don't dream to get rich in one big play.
