PDI seems to have started to move up on good volume. I can only find one research analyst report in english (Kimeng) where the target was 43baht in August 06 this assuming the price of zinc was 3000/tonne.
It is now over 4000/tonne and heading higher!
Wonder what this analyst calculates the target now? Does anyone have any later information?
Thanks

TPIPL is getting better, is it ok to accumulate since my avg cost 10.3

At Thursday, November 02, 2006 3:20:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

When we recommended TPIPL, some people were hesitating. Now you believe us!

After TPIPL took off, it's not call "accumulation" but "Chase".

When you chase a stock, use "tigh stop". You can deal your different "chips" accordingly. Good luck.

I know nothing about TT&T's fundamental. Now I said TT&T is cooking. You don't believe? Wait and see.

Answer to your question:
AJ: when it was around 2.90, I repeated several times that it's cooking. Did you believe? Now it's up over 10%. It's called "chase" if you buy it now. If you like, enter with a stop at 3.10. Good luck.

You can not find such a good blog offering such good advice, such specific entry point and lock profit profit point in the world. If you use "thai stock blog" key word to google or yahoo, the search result is this blog.

If you love this blog, why not share with your friends? Tell your friends and they will grateful to you :)

At Friday, November 03, 2006 4:34:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yes, NSM has been cooking for some time. Didn't you see the RSI is above 50 which is a good entry point.

Broker stocks going up because the major players are punting them up. On modest volume means they have not yet distributed. When you see big volume, it's time to flee away.

Wow, another good call on UOBKH :)

It's up over 20% since our call.

WOW! PDI also going up alot today. Did you know how to chase? Move LPP to 42 or highter. You are happy now?

At Friday, November 03, 2006 4:46:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Pau, your entry into CK-w1 at 3.5 was very nice. Now your profit is about 55%, great. Move your "Lock profit point" to 5.20. Remember keep moving up your LPP. If the chefs won't offer more dishes, leave the table. It's that simple.

At Friday, November 03, 2006 4:51:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

In this blog, I do not talk about "theory" but just "cooking", "entry point", "Lock profit point"

These simple strategies are very simple for any one to over play SET.

You hate you did not know this blog earlier?

Kenneth, usually I do not pay too much attention to SET index. Most of the time I focus on specific cooking stocks. Think this way: if "chefs" cook one stock, SET can not have much implication on the really cooking stocks.

Res. for PLE is around 7.75-8 or higher.

scrt4u

You mentioned that PDI had resistance at 40 and 42.5. It has taken these out now. Please can you tell from your chart where is the next resistance? Zinc price continues to rise.

Ken

At Saturday, November 04, 2006 4:11:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Answers to your questions:

PRECHA: still cooking. Set stop/LPP at 2.25

SCIB: I recommended this stock when it was only 16.50. (At the same time I also recommended PF which also has made great profit.)Now it's up 33%. Didn't you enjoy the great profit? Now it's the 3rd time it tried to take out the res at 22. If it cannot break out this res, RP.

PDI: you asked me the next target after it took out 42.5, I really do not know. It can go as high as the punters like. My blind guess, probably 47.5 or higher. Just follow the trend. If it won't go up, lock your profit. Not difficult, right?

P.S- Got some BAY-W1 continue to hold or lock in profits?

At Monday, November 06, 2006 8:51:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

nsm: still cooking
bay-w1: getting overbought. sell if bay reaches 22 (the warrant should be around 10) or use the 4 day avg as lpp (now at 7.4).
another possibility for profit taking could be if the set reaches again the upper channel resistance, now at 743. it could become the beginning of a mt-downtrend, similar to the pattern after 8th of august 2006 and highflyers like bay-w1 are usually hit hard.

what's latest comment on MPT?looked a bit shaky to enter now and FNS res level thx.

ueda

At Tuesday, November 07, 2006 9:14:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

iec: i still rate it avoid. if it touches the falling support line (connect lows in weekly chart in march, july, september, now @ 0.9) it would be a possibility to enter.

mpt: needs to break 2.5 before a rally starts, now a bit weak but still worth to hold or buy on weakness.
fns: touched first resistance at 14-14.2 today. next resistance will be 18, but i don't think it will go there soon. rsi overbought, volume could have peaked.

At Wednesday, November 08, 2006 11:34:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

tpipl could run till 20, but it won't happen without a correction inbetween. use 4 day avg as lpp. Rsi now very high, so a correction can start anytime.
mlink: close to resistance at 2.2-2.3, soon time to take profit.
irpc: weekly chart does not look good. can't see much upside.
sattel: suppressed by 75 day avg, but 25 avg is coming soon as support. buy on breakout of 9 at closing.
mint: 10.5 is the channelsupport and can be used as lpp.

At Thursday, November 09, 2006 8:52:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

notaclue, does your broker provide you with a charting system? which broker do you have?
select the tpipl chart and if the chart system allows to show the moving average, select a time span of 4 day for the average. the line will show a value of 12.85.
you could also calculate the average value of the last 4 closing dates (11.6+12.8+13+14)/4=12.85

ueda

At Friday, November 10, 2006 12:41:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

true: just a rebound fom a previous low.10-10.5 should be the maximum this round

jas: volume picking up, looks good for now but important resistance at 0.58-0.6, if broken we could see a major run.

mpt: is q3 already out? the weak q2 was expected in june when mpt dropped from 4 to 2

fns: volume is low again, not a good sign.

Please comment on IRP. Thank you.

At Friday, November 10, 2006 9:11:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

pdi: 55 could be possible

irp: resistance at 7.45, made douple top similar to the time in april/may. should go down now. if you hold it, sell if 7.2 is broken, otherwise buy if 7.45 is taken out.

speculative stocks: are usually played when the set is in a downtrend. just watch those stocks, if one is strong up while the set down, it is a good opportunity for a st-game.

ewc: on friday i nearly posted a buy-rating when the 25 an 75 day avg was taken out, but some gutt feeling kept me silent. today ewc dropped again below both avgs., not sure what is going on there. if it can climb above the 75 avg again and stay there for a couple of days or puts a bit of distance to it, it would be safer to buy.
tt&t: a bit similar like emc but it managed to stay above the 25 avg (1.59) which is the stop.

mme: still below 25 avg, better to stay away.

theco: i wrote about a month ago: "bearish triangle since february, buy only on breakout above the resistance now at 1.6". this is still applicable.

picni: is cooking but i would rather prefer to buy on a breakout or a very big dip (below 0.3) than to collect now. needs to clear the 75 day avg for a couple of days (now at 0.4).

iec: there was a strong rebound when the punters pushed it up but they let it fall down again, after it nearly reached the september low of 2 and the 75 avg at 2.1.; now a bit below 25 day avg which could be a point of rebound. too risky to invest and even for dayttrading you need to have a lot of experience. if the 25 avg at 1.54 can't be reclaimed tomorrow, another big fall could be ahead.

SIAM nd TNITY go up every cycle e.g 99, 03 so wait them out. Maybe also PF and BTC, but FNS, KMC and N-PARK are not so certain to regain 03 highs next time around. DTM v unlikely, it was one time ramp & dump.

To Upset - You lose too much. Why didn't you cut loss when your loss was still small? My suggestions as follows:

Forget past and be in a good, relaxed mood. Just presume that you start invest in SET recently.

LIVE: hold it if 0.25 support does not break.
DTM: set stop at 1.04; If resume trading, exit.
BTC-W2: set stop at 0.5
FNS: set stop at 11.30
KMC: set stop at 1.5
N-PARK: set stop at 0.35
PF: this stock has made good profit for us. You can set stop at 3.80. If break, exit.
SIAM: this also has made great profit for us. The price just broke the previous two highs but next resistance is around 5.5 - 5.75. Move LPP/stop to 5.20. If it breaks down, exit.
TNITY: this stock is now in uptrend. Move your "Lock profit point" 7.20.

From now on, please visit this blog daily and check for the updates for our cooking stocks. You can also get help from other people.

Hope helpful to you. Play at your own risk.

you invested in stocks that I have never bought. Unlike people here I do invest in FA based rather than TA based, for example, I will invest in stocks like BGH, KTB, DRT, CPN, and recently TPIPL and also some Banking stocks such as BAY, KTB, (sometimes KK). Frankly speaking I have learnt a lot from this blog about some TA basis to help my decision but most of my stock picks are stocks that I have mentioned above. Why not you try some of these but you have to consult someone here for the timing.

NNCL: move LPP to 3.5 or higher.

TWP: if you have this stock. Take some of your profit and then move your LPP to 21 or higher.

DISTAR: today it shot up alot. Next resistance is around 1.22-1.26

INOX: move LPP to 1.35.

SYNTEC: seems a small brokeout. If chase, set stop at 0.85. Good luck.

SINGHA: seems double bottom. Set stop at 3.32 if you enter.

SINGER: It brokedown the support at 2.84. It seems that the punters are doing a big shakeout but no shareholder are afraid of it. If its fundamental is good, buy more when its price is stable again. Play at your own risk. My blind guess only. Good luck.

Warning: TPIPL has help you make 50% profit. Now it looks a little tired. Set your LPP/stop at 14 - 14.50. If it retraces, it could fall back to as low as 12 or even lower. Don't let your profit fly away. Don't be too greedy because 50% is good enought.

You can re-enter and profit on TPIPL again.

Maybe I am wrong. We could not be 100% correct and accurate.

Warnig: TT&T is now near the crucial support line. If 1.53 breaks down, reduce your position and enter again when the price is stabel. Probably around 1.40. It's a game of "mouse playing elephant".

Could give yourself a nickname so that I know whom I am answering to?

Except TPIPL, another good stock is MPT. Most people think its Q3 result is poor. My blind guess is that is only for cheating the rettailers. You have think opposite to the majority of the stock population and you can win big money. Don't believe? OK, wait and see.

When we said TPIPL is cooking, some people argued that its fundamental is poor. Now you see it kept moving up 50%. How do you explain this?

I repeat again MPT, MPT...

Punters will most probably do some shakouts but finally it will run up alot.

more news about PTT:
Mr. Min. of Industry/Deputy PM informed today that he disagrees with the delist, his comment is to let bygone be bygone as the delist would bring more catastrophe than benefits to the country. PTT has very close relationship with ChevronTexaco (who bought UNOCAL) and can be said to have monopoly in NGV supply. Chevron also owns STAR gas stations in Thailand with great loss every year. Chevron and PTT are working together to take over all gas stations from Chevron so that Chevron will concentrate only on Wholesale. Please note that NGV will be supplied only thru PTT's gas station. But due to some pressure, it would possibly be distributed thru other gas stations but major profit will be to PTT

If a comapy has monopoly and is backed by the government, it's a good chip to play. I think PTT is too important to be delisted for the economy. So sometimes we have to consider a stock "politically or national interests".

To notaclue - I do not think it's wise to put all your eggs in one basket. Even MPT is very nice you still have to adhere to the principle of "diversification of investment". Don't wish to get rich overnight. If you can get rich overnight, you can also get broke overnight. You should gradually set up (or find) a trding strategy that can bring you reasonable, stable, low-risk profit. Preservation of your capital is more important than making profit.

NSM: still cooking.
JAS: if you take a look at its 5-years chart, you can see its protential.

After you put most of your money in MPT, if the big hands won't do any big shakeouts, you can make good money. But if they smash the price lower and you can not grue your eyes on the screen, you will lose big.

It's up to yourself.

Hilarious, but I let 1/3 ride as you never know how far these things can go. nobody made 1000% selling out at 240%. Worst that can happen is last 1/3 goes back to zero but I still have doubled my money from 2/3 I sold yesterday. Think probabilities, you have to have the mathematics working for you.

NSM: let me talk a little more about this stock in a technical
view.

Please take a look at its 3-years chart.

On 18 Nov.2003, its price was 3.94. Then it kept moving down, down, down... although sometimes a some ups, the major trend has been down, down. Every down implied that every shareholder was losing money. Shareholders' confidence kept losing a bit by a bit. Since last May, the price kept move horizontally which remained "unchanged" for over 6 months. Its price has never been moved in such a narrow horizontal channel for such a long time in its history.

If the compay is really losing money, why would the stock price not keep going down, down, down to below 0.35, down to below 0.20, down to below 0.10?

Statistics and research reports are not always reliable.

Chefs are probably collecting raw materials for cooking. Just blind guess. Mybe I am wrong. Even I am wrong I won't lose big because I have already set a TIGHT STOP.

Nope, not all winners have some stocks that are 50% under water. TFI, TT&T GBX, + others. That is the reality. Would like to have sold but got caught. For stocks around the LT reset level this is an acceptable risk - ie smashing down before the run up. Above reset level finger on the trigger at - 7%.

If you think I am boasting then that is up to you, I lost interest in what other people think long ago.

In addition to reading the price action you have to evaluate whether or not there are good enough odds for you to deal. The mathematics have to be on your side. If not, pass on the price action read. Trading is a game of odds. If you are speculating you are not analysing investments you are playing poker.

live: from phillip sec.:
The company announced book closing date for capital decrease on 24 Nov
2006 whereby “SP” sign will be posted from 21 Nov until the transaction has been registered with the Commerce Ministry.
The book closing date for capital increase will be on 6 Dec 2006 at a ratio of 1 old common share to 1 new share at Bt1.10 each. XR sign will be posted on 30 Nov 2006 and subscription date between 18-22 Dec 2006.
According to the BOD’s resolution, the company will decrease capital
from 9.9135 existing shares to 1 share, which will decrease paid-up capital to 230m shares (Par Bt1). It will then increase capital from 230m shares to 460m shares by allotting them to existing shareholders on the basis of 1 old share to 1 new share at Bt1.10 each.
Calculation of stock on the first day it reconvenes trading will be based on closing price on “SP” date times # of shares after capital decrease and calculating after XR. For example, at closing price of Bt0.31, after capital decrease, the stock price
will stand at Bt3.07 (0.31 x 9.9135) and after XR, stock price will be Bt2.08 ((3.07+1.10)/2). As such, the reference price on the day it reconvenes trading is
at Bt2.08.

No , do not average in again. With stocks that go up a lot when they go up, it is better to just leave the position and accept that it may be a while before you get back to B/E. If it does not go up again you would have lost a lot more if you averaged in again.

Is it the right time to buy into ITD and STEC since the "mega progects" are getting forward with bidding starting from March 2007?

zorro, answer to your question:
acl: Forming a flag, if 4.5 holds, can give it a try
asl: looking ambiguous
bland: in uptrend after brokeout, resistance around 0.92-0.94
epco: It's on our cooking list. still cooking.
ewc: seems cooking. stop=6.4
iec: brokeout with volume. stop 1.5
kce: brokeout. If chase, stop 3.7
ktech: ambiguous.
sattel: consolidating. stop 8.5
sgf: took out previous highs but seems distribution now.
tnity: in uptrend. stop 7.35

to SICK AND TIRED OF LIVE:
if i understand the capital reduction and increase correct, you will lose 50% if you don't subscribe to the new shares.
either sell before the excercise date (guess you will have to sell on monday before live gets suspended) or hold and subscribe to the new shares.
the situation is similar to tfi some month ago. Maybe there will be a short rally when live begins to trade again, as those who subscribed to the new shares want to sell them at a nice profit.
check the details of the capital increase by yourself.

to scrt4u: i agree with most of your observations regarding my enquiry.

these were my ideas about stops for the above stocks:
acl: stop 4.5 and/or 25 day avg
asl: stop 25 day avg
bland: stop 0.81
ewc: stop 6.6
iec: stop 1.5
ktech: stop 1.6
sattel: buy on breakout closing above 9
sgf: stop 0.61

pretty much the same as scrt4u.

Took the equity out in DE. Looks weak but the punter like deep corrections. Lots of sell signs but also looks like it could double so left the profit in to ride.

PICNI: zorro, do you know this stock's fundamental. Could it go broke or is it a "sleeping beauty"?
Check its 3-years chart.

TT&T: get ready to enter again if 1.5 is a support.

picni: everytime there are news about picni it is about need of new capital and other dodgy things.
today a bit strong but has a slightly downsloping resistance since july at 0.4 where it seems to bounce back now. if it breaks 0.4 the punters could bring it up higher.

Beware of stocks doing reverse splits such as TFI and LIVE. They are really just interested in getting the share price up to levels wher it looks respectable and then just issueing more stock.

Does anyone know whats happening with NNCL. The stock price is just crazy now?
As a value investor i bought around 1.6 baht but sold out by 2.2 feeling that it was getting pricy compared to other industrial land banks.
But at this price its trading on a PE of 17+ higher than others like Rojana which have a much stronger financial history.

Chilli
