KMART, I dont really impress with their business profile but the stock keep rising...beware of free falls
Guys year 2012 coming soon...what's your 5 best stock in 2012?
scrt4u...thank you for all your efforts, over the years, in maintaining this blog!
ueda...contrary to some predictions, December was not a good month. Santa left no presents and only ate away at my profits ;-)
I'm expecting..._hoping_...in 2012 that my ASP, KGI and some of my other financial stocks will have further significant gains...but who knows???
Best 5 stocks ime gonna shout is PTTGC,IVL,DCC,CPALL,MAKRO.Just an educated guess, IVL has underperformed this year and hopefully kicks on nxt.
HAPPYNEW YEAR everyone and the Scotch is on me SAM,hope you can wait til feb when i will be in BKK
Happy New Year Everyone!
Although I am still on the 2012 crash haha, but who knows!
Top 5 picks for 2012 for me are as follows
ADVANC
MAKRO
CPF
SCCC
Then I have another list, which are great companies too, but is just overvalued for my liking. Will buy if 2012 provides some good entrance price targets (Atleast 30% off from current prices)
Overpriced but good stocks (Buy on dips)
CPALL
KBANK
PTT
Mine is also similar KTB, SCC, CPF, MAKRO, BAY for safe plays while others SGP, TIPCO & TTW also in my hunting list.
Happy New Year to all!
Happy New Year!
Will we get a New Year rally as it happened in Europe?
Looking at the last 13 years the first trading day closed almost as much red as it closed green.
Though more important will be the whole month of January.
Many brokers talk about X-mas rallies, the "January effect" or New Year rallies, when you look at the previous 13 years again one can put up these statements:
8 times the December was strong, 2 times weak, rest sideways.
4 times the January was strong, 5 times weak, rest sideways.
6 times the December was under/outperforming January while the January was doing the opposite. 4 times the December and January had the same trends.
2 times both month were strong, never where both month weak.
After December going sideways, what will January 2012 bring?
Toss a coin.
