Chilli
you are the good example of foreign investor in Thailand, if other foreigners do have just 1/2 of your confidence, the SET will be very strong market in this region. What I want to say is to copy the words of the Deputy of BOT governor, Mrs. Archjana Waikuamdee who says that many investors in SET are too sensitive, just a noice of the dog's barking, they immdly sell off

As a matter of reality, Thai poeple and Thai officers are very friendly to foreigners, actually, they treat foreigners like BOSS, only those taxi-drivers-style, or Hippies style investors that they do not welcome. I myself, never imagine before until these recent days, that the foreigners investing in Thai's SET are such low class investors which are very different from the previous days. However, I still believe that many good Top Class are still in there

I have noticed that stocks with high P/E ratios such as hospital stocks are remained stable, this is good prove that foreigners are still with these stocks and do not sell off as boasted.
Don't sell is best at the current level.

Normally, if foreigners want to quit, the stocks that must be hard hit must be stocks with very high P/E ratio, why, because
1) the yield is very low
2) profit is by capital gain only.
But if you think that the foreigners really want to quit, why expect capital gain. No point
If all of you remember well, the Baht which is stronger and stronger from 38 to 35 baht, SET increase or decrease, the answer is
Decreasing or Go nowhere as Analysts always warn of the stronger baht that will hit the country's export, as a consequence, we see no foreginers come in to push SET higher.
So take a holiday and re think and be rational.

To Scrt4u
Thanks a million.
That's how much I made on Gen . One of the few times when I got the timing correct. Of course after buying had to wait almost 3 months whilst they played around with the stock.
