Cooking list of Stocks - No.2 2006

Dear Thai stock traders and investors,
We start No.2 to make it short and speedy to load to your browser. For the previous posts, please click the links below archives on the side bar.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MME: This is another very successful stock pick. We recommended to get in when it was only about 8.50. It's up 355% now. If you listened to our advice and got in, you are very happy now. Move lpp to 30 or higher. Enjoy, our fans. (updated on 21 March 06)

Distar: We recommended it last December when it was only 0.8. Today it finally shot up after broke out the 1.0 resistance. Now it's up 37%. Not bad. Next resistant area is around 1.4 - 1.5 Move lpp to 1.10 Good luck. Click picture to enlarge. (updated on 14 March 06)

THECO: This is another good stock pick by zorro and me. It's already 120% up since our recommendation. Next resistance is between 2.50- 2.75. Move your lpp to 2.05 or higher. If you locked your profit today, you can re-enter when it's low enough, but take smaller position. Enjoy our fans. It's forming a flag pattern, there seems 2.0 is a strong support(updated on 21 March. 06)

SMC: I mentioned this stock on 7 Feb.06, now it's flying. Up 24% in one day. You should lock your profit when it broke 2.4 and re-enter with smaller position just before market closed. Move lpp to 2. 25 or higher. Enjoy. (updated on 22 Feb.06)

NCH: if 1.22 breaks, exit because yestoday looked like D pattern. Move lpp to 1.43. Exited. (updated on 9 Feb. 06)

EVER: move up lpp to 4.65. Move lpp to 5.0. Exited. (updated on 2 Feb. 06)

IRP: Buy with a stop at 5.15. Exited. (updated on 9 Feb. 06)

PAP: still in safe area, but if support of 16 breaks, RP or exit. Now still cooking. (updated on 9 Feb. 06)

MLINK: For its chart, please visit Cooking list No.1 Now looking a little shaky. If 2.66 breaks, it will test 2.5 support.

SAMCO: Be cautious. It's looking shaky. Now quietly IP. If support 3 breaks, RP or exit. Seems moving up again. (updated on 22 Feb.06)

NWR: As long as this stock can stay above 0.97 support, hold. (updated on 22 Feb.06)

DE: It broke out its small downtrend channel. You can try you luck with a tight stop. Good luck. (updated on 9 Feb.06)

We will add more gradually.

scrt4u & zorro

To notaclue,
Could not understand what you trying to write about. As your name suggest, there is not a clue on what you trying to say.

tpi could fall back to the channel support in the area of 6.5-7.

mlink: what to do with this one? nice sloping doubleresistance line (connect april and october high which touches the recent peak as well and draw a parallel a bit lower through the june and august peaks), maybe horizontal resistance do not work for mlink. enter now with stop 2.6? looks a bit toppy now (mini head and shoulder). 25 and 75 avg could be another support....

At Friday, February 03, 2006 12:37:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

mlink: forgot to mention: eddy recommends today to play with 2.5-2.6 as support and 2.9-3 as resistance....

MLINK: yes mini "S+H+S" pattern. Uptrend channel already brok. Probably Eddie is right. Hard to say. Better V&C.

At Friday, February 03, 2006 4:13:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

TPI: is falling down toward to the lower line of the channel( connect lows of April, July and Dec and draw a parallel line.)

At Friday, February 03, 2006 8:24:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

It seems to me that Mlink wants to surge given that it rose 8% then fell back 10% due to those that wanted to lock in their profit due to the unrest over Thaksin and Sondhi. Overall taken both days into consideration it lost only 2% compared to heavy losses on most other stocks. Wait and see but I think there will be more to come. Seamico views this latest correction as only temporary also.

MME is now back to where it began after rising more than 50%. SCRT4U what do you think about this one.

MME: still down, wait and see.

Right now I would not be buying anything that has not seen highs and lows in 99-01 and 01-03 i.e. seasoned issues, NOT recent IPO's with no obvious reset level. e.g two of my worst hit calls are CCP and TRAF. I will be buying more of my seasoned picks at reset levels.

samco: most of the fun is over but i give it a bit more to go. 4 is possible.
umi: have seen the same chartpattern somewhere. which stock was it? reacted to 75 avg as support an 25 as reasistance. not sure where it will go next. if i find the similar chart i will let you know.
smit: looks familar as well but it seems to move up now instead of going down. broke 25 and 75 avg on good volume today despite set going down. should be more upside available, at least until 125 avg now at 2.5 and 3 for medium term.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 5:50:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI has formed the pattern it has because a finco holder ramped it up for year end closing and then had to ramp it up again to get an average high enough to make back loss from year end ramp. Difficult to see if there true longer term accumulation. Looks more negative to me.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 9:46:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI- This is a castrated pig. Can't produce or deliver. Usually a "one day play" Recommend to sell whenever you have a chance.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 1:45:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI: it's up today. It's still too early to say it's a pig. Even it is, somtimes a pig can fly in SET. I just wonder why two Thai Funds have stakes in it. When most people loose confidence, it's the time to fly. I often make mistakes.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 2:58:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

They are probably restructing entities (juristic person) rather than funds like MFC or KASSET so there could be an exit ramp.

DE: shot up today.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 3:50:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

DISTAR: we recommended this stock las Dec. Now how are feeling? Punta said my call is great if my memory is not failed. Over 40% up in two months.

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 3:55:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI - Yes, pigs do fly in the SET....but not this castrated pig. Just imagine how a castrated pig looks like; it can't even walk properly let alone fly. It has gained so much fat eating and sleeping. Hope you had a chance to sell it this morning.

There are a lot of discussion on shipping stock (TTA, RCL & PSL) in snakepit, can I have your view please?

At Thursday, February 09, 2006 7:53:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

lost, in the snakepit Seamico started to promote TTA and PSL(on rcl). Probably they want to pull them up. In me TA view, RCL is safer to play. You should enter on 8 Feb.06. Resistance around 26. Set stop at 23. Good luck.

theco: watch out for the sell-on-fact when results are out
distar: any news or rumours around? firing up like sc
smc: eddy suggests punting with sup. 1.8-2 and res. 2.5-2.7
nch: rising support now at 1.2-1.25 together with the 25 and 75 day avg crossover could be a good entry or stop.
nwr: might take some more time before the next run starts as investors are worried about toxins megaprojects
de: volume peaked? tested 125 avg today, if taken out next target/resistance =200 avg at 0.97 (falling)
shipping: might be just a rebound, they all have a nice downresistance since last august/september, psl might reach 30, tta max. 25 and rcl is nearly at the resistance 25. if those lines are broken, i will have another look
ccet: can't make much out of this chart, could be a buy if the downtrend since beginning of this year is broken
tks: going sideways down, buy on breakout of the slightly downsloping resistance since august (or should it read tks=thanks in the ccet post, mr.lost?)
cph: got some attention today, 1 year chart a chaos but the 3 year chart shows a triangle with 12.5 as resistance
singer: another stock waking up, was going sideways for quite some time. have missed the morning call on the 8th, which is a typical sign for a quick jump (got a secretary to check each chart every day, scrt4u?)
svoa: another stock to watch, volume strong today!!! 1.25 possible in 1-2 days (a bit similar to nch)
traf: returning from the ashes or dead cat bouncing? major downtrend not broken yet, could be just a "shipping-type"-rebound

At Friday, February 10, 2006 12:39:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

zorro, ThanKS for your view on ccet & tks.

At Friday, February 10, 2006 9:30:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

ktc: check insider trading this and last month...thought to have seen some, don't remember if it was buy or sell. reached the peak from june, could make a small retreat or take a breather before continuing the run with the next target 26-27. a close below 21.5 would be bearish, you can use the 75 day average as stop.

theco: capital increase (see nations business section today)

SAFARI: seems warming up.

PAP & DE: cooking.

At Wednesday, February 15, 2006 3:53:00 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI: Can see that this pig is trying to shake off some fat. If it continues this fat shake-off exercises, perhaps can try to fly as scrt4u anticipated. If it can clear the 2.30 level, the sky will be the limit.
Good luck.

PAP: still cooking very well.

nwr: approaching 25 day average and downresistance. could make a jump if broken.
zmico: triple bottom or falling knife? we will get the answer this week.
umi: found finally the chart of the stock that looks similar: it is de. at least pattern since december. are they somehow connected? same shareholders maybe?
scrt4u: how do you copy the kimeng charts?

Not connected, but could use the services of the same Kha yai.

DE is part of a group of companies that the owner of MIDA has taken stakes in, DISTAR is another one. UMI I suspect is being driven by the Bank/Finco that was involved in restructuring and may have taken debt to equity swap

At Thursday, February 16, 2006 9:37:00 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

UMI- I think the largest finco involved in their rehap is Tisco. No connection in the share-holders for sure

gen: possible double bottom, now still looking weak,
tk: could be bought at 4.7-4.8, volume increasing
emc: should be watched, similar to nwr
i suggest to remove the following stocks:
mme: made nice gains already, now topping, prohibition of net sett.&marg. trading
theco: broke a channelsupport
ever&irp: exited, not so interesting anymore
de: punters have lost interest, could test alltime low
