Happy New Year everyone.

Been waiting for E for quite sometime, there's a little push up today but I wonder how long this will go on.

Sorry, I am new to here and Thailand stocks, Question: can you short Thai stocks, for my own reasons I believe a major correction is coming and would like to cash in on it. Appreciate any comments and advice from those more experienced.

MDX: it seems cooking for very long time. Still cooking horizontally. Intersting! If you try, stop tight! Good luck!

MAJOR: its pattern indicates that it's pulled up by institutions. I blindly guess it's a long-term stock.

E: still at the lower area. seems double-bottom (higher than previous bottom).

To Jerry,

CIMBT: I blindly guess that it seems forming a double-bottom.

To Jerry,

APURE: it is not news that drives stock up. When news comes out, it's too late. This stock is not interesting. Please look for another one.

CPF: Last warning! if you have this stock, take all your profit. If you like, you may keep a small position for fun-profit! Enjoy!:)

Hmmm, evidently I sold my CPF a day too soon...up 5% since selling yesterday. ;-)

scrt4u: Resetting meaning you think it will have another run?

At Wednesday, January 13, 2010 3:10:00 PM , Blogger scrt4u said...

To ueda,

CPF: check your 60 minutes chart and you can see you should sell or if it can not hold above 12.50. If I were you, I will sell today.

At Wednesday, January 13, 2010 3:14:00 PM , Blogger scrt4u said...

To Preeda,

Resetting means the stock is near a relatively bottom or valley. Most probably it will go up again.

BLA, catch me if you can :)

I start to like this one...

TCB also worth to watch...

This year, it's definitely been more difficult to generate some decent returns [IMHO].

scrt4u...do you still have positive thoughts for TICON. I've profited well with it, previously bought/sold 3X, but now holding a smaller position, and it seems to be a laggard.
thx.

At Friday, January 15, 2010 3:16:00 PM , Blogger scrt4u said...

To lukdod,

TICON: in a TA view, it looks like a shoulder+head+shoulder pattern. Set stop at 9 bahts. If it breaks down 9, sell all.

hmm after few cut loss, just sit back & relax waiting political dust cleared...

btw be cautious on upcoming IVL IPO as it seems not sold out / overbook...my broker keep offer me but I turn down as I still can make money without IPO stock

Looks like investors are going to have to wait a few weeks. All the talk of bombs and coups isn't leaving much of a nice taste in the mouths of traders.

BWG has dived to its lowest ever. Is it worth entering around 1.40 or do you expect it to drop further?

I am settled right in with CSP, and don't mind waiting.

Best to all.

Hm, pretty much of negative feeling with the Thai Stock and politics.
I once heard an investor saying that whatever he learn in the West cannot be used in Thai.

At Friday, January 29, 2010 4:03:00 AM , Blogger scrt4u said...

To dee,

BWG: it's a falling knife. It depends on the volume. No volume, no buy. No volume means no many people cut loss. If the bighands could not get alot of cheap chip, it would not pull it up.

To Seizhin,

Every stock market has its own game law. Of course what you learned in the USA is not useful in Thai stock market.

Seizhin and scrt4u: Thanks for that valuable advice, I was beginning to feel the smashers are targeting "my" stocks.

I've seen a few people post about CSP. What do you guys think about it? It seems that prior to the news release on Dec. 18 about China Steel buying shares there was pure speculation and once the release was out of course the SP dived. Is there anything to look forward to this stock because prior to the speculation about China Steel there was very little daily turnover. Or do you think that the rumours adhere to the saying that "where there's smoke there's fire. I'd like to get your guys take. Thanks.
